Background

Much of the value is in writing things down. A process that only one person understands is a risk regardless of how well it works today.

We work on fixed scopes with a defined end state. If a piece of work turns out to be the wrong piece of work, we would rather say so early than bill for it.

Most of what we do is unremarkable, and that is the point. The measure of the work is that the systems it touches stop being a topic of conversation.

Our engagements tend to be shorter than clients expect and to end more definitely. We are not looking for a permanent seat.

The team is deliberately small. Every engagement is run by someone who was in the first conversation, which removes a category of misunderstanding that no amount of documentation fixes.
